Company Milestones

1987

Queengil was founded as a family company in the Promised Land, with the vision of supplying growers with drip irrigation solutions, and to increase their efficiency and profits.

1989

The first product (the Queengil drip irrigation tape) was marketed



The first manufacturing facility was established in Bulgaria and Queengil was recognized as an international company.

1991

The second product was inaugurated, the Queengil drip irrigation tape with drip spacing of 10 cm. and the Queengil tape with low flow emitters.

1992

Queengil enters international markets and becomes a leading favorite among growers.



The Bulgarian plant doubles its capacity.



A far-eastern distribution line is established, based in China.



International offices are established in Bulgaria.



Supplementary products and accessories are added to the drip irrigation line.

1997

Queengil celebrates a decade of successful activity



Queengil comes out with a new line of products and doubles its production facility again and moves to a new state-of-the-art production facility.



Queengil announces a new organizational structure.



Mr. Gilead is appointed international sales and marketing manager.



Queengil is awarded the International Irrigation Association's prize for quality and service. Recognition by the University of Florida, the Japanese Standards Institute, the Academy of Sciences in Bulgaria as the best irrigation engineering company in the world. Aquired the ISO 9000/9002 certificate of quality.



Announcement of new products such as sprinklers, filters, fertilizer injectors, mini-sprinklers, sprayers, valves, connectors, etc.

2004

Establishment of a new factory for production of engineering plastic, embossed mulch film, twines with an investment of 20 000 000 USD.
